THE STATE OF SCIENTIFIC DEVELOPMENT OF COUNTERACTION BY OPERATIONAL UNITS TO ILLEGAL SEIZURE OF VEHICLES COMMITTED BY YOUTH

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to clarify the state of scientific development of counteraction by operational units against illegal seizure of vehicles by youth. In this scientific article, the author emphasizes that the development and improvement of existing methods of counteraction by operational units against illegal seizure of vehicles by youth is impossible without their proper scientific development. The author analyzes modern scientific approaches to studying the problem of counteraction by operational units against illegal seizure of vehicles by youth, assesses the scientific development of the topic at the present stage, focusing on achievements and gaps in existing research. It is noted that specialists in operational and investigative activities, criminal law, criminal procedure, criminology, and forensic examination, etc., have devoted considerable attention to the problem of combating illegal seizure of vehicles. It has been established that the content of scientific research in this area varies depending on the research tasks. Discussion issues have been studied, the relevance of the topic has been proven, and priority areas have been identified that will contribute to solving the scientific problem. Based on the results of the study, a conclusion has been made about promising areas of further scientific development in combating illegal vehicle seizure by operational units of the National Police of Ukraine committed by young people.
