Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of methods of using artificial intelligence algorithms in the field of criminal proceedings in the national aspect. Practical examples of the use of artificial intelligence in criminal proceedings are considered. The advantages and disadvantages of the spectrum of the researched topic are highlighted.

Another technological revolution is taking place in the world, the main component of which is the transmission, processing and application of information. The world is in a continuous process of digitalization and globalization, the level of crime has reached a supranational level, and more often crimes are committed in the field of electronic information systems, which requires the search for new approaches and the development of new forms of the criminal process.

It is worth noting that the prospects of introducing such technologies into the national system of criminal justice is a rather debatable issue both among practitioners and among scientists, at the same time, such a debate does not prevent scientific research in this direction.

The speed of data processing thanks to artificial intelligence and its effectiveness in decision-making in the criminal process create a model of digital automation of procedural decision-making.

Such automation simplifies the decision-making procedure in similar procedures, which undoubtedly increases efficiency and simplifies the decision-making procedure from a procedural and economic point of view. Modern developments are aimed at making machines take on complex tasks that were previously performed by humans. In the near future, the accompanying organizational measures for the introduction of artificial intelligence and its legal support in state bodies will focus on the storage of large volumes of data. The processing of mathematical algorithms and decision-making based on artificial intelligence is planned to become an integral part of our living society
